10. Individual personalization & advertising for you
At this point we would like to provide you with comprehensive information on the subject of usage-based online advertising. Our website or the website from which you have just been linked collects and processes your usage behavior anonymously. As a result, you as a user benefit by receiving advertising that is more relevant to your areas of interest and by the fact that overall less randomly distributed advertising is delivered. A cookie is stored on your computer to record your usage behavior. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer’s hard drive and enable recognition, but do not allow you to be personally identified. Information about your activities on this website (e.g. surfing behavior, visited sub-pages of the internet offer) is recorded. All usage data is stored using a pseudonym, so that personal identification is generally excluded. In general, you can prevent cookies from being saved on your hard drive by selecting “Do not accept cookies” in your browser settings. You can also set your browser so that it asks you whether you agree before setting cookies. Finally, you can also delete cookies that have been set at any time. How this works in detail can be found in the help pages of your browser. If you do not accept cookies, this can lead to functional restrictions on the website in individual cases. Please note that if cookies are deleted, you may have to reactivate any opt-out cookies that have been set.
- Google Adwords Conversion
We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 90 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification.
If you visit certain web pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. As a result, there is no way that cookies can be tracked through AdWords advertisers’ websites.
The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Here, customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can find more information and Google’s privacy policy at: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/, http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/ - Google Dynamic Remarketing
The provider uses the remarketing or “similar target groups” function of Google Inc. (“Google”) on the website. Using this function, the provider can target visitors to the website with advertising by placing personalized, interest-based advertising ads for visitors to the provider’s website when they visit other websites in the Google Display Network. Google uses so-called cookies to carry out the analysis of website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-based advertisements. For this purpose, Google saves a small file with a sequence of numbers in the browsers of the website visitors. This number is used to record visits to the website and anonymous data on website use. There is no storage of personal data of visitors to the website. If you then visit another website in the Google Display Network, you will be shown advertisements that most likely take into account previously accessed product and information areas. You can permanently disable the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by YouTube can be found in the data protection declaration. 12. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge / other widgets
Trusted Shops widgets are integrated on this website to display Trusted Shops services (e.g. seal of approval, collected reviews) and to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order.
This serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in optimal marketing by enabling secure shopping in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer from Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, with whom we are jointly responsible for data protection according to Art. 26 DSGVO. In the context of this data protection notice, we will inform you below about the essential contents of the contract in accordance with Art. 26 (2) GDPR.
The Trustbadge is provided as part of a shared responsibility by a US CDN (Content Delivery Network) provider. An appropriate level of data protection is ensured by standard data protection clauses and other contractual measures. Further information on data protection at Trusted Shops GmbH can be found in their data protection declaration: https://www.trustedshops.de/impressum/#datenschutz
When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, date and time of the call, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call. The IP address is anonymized immediately after collection, so that the stored data cannot be assigned to you personally. The anonymized data is used in particular for statistical purposes and for error analysis.
After completing the order, your hashed e-mail address using a one-way cryptographic function will be sent to Trusted Shops GmbH. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f GDPR. This serves to check whether you are already registered for services with Trusted Shops GmbH and is therefore necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops’ overriding legitimate interests in the provision of buyer protection linked to the specific order and the transactional evaluation services in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR required. If this is the case, further processing takes place in accordance with the contractual agreement made between you and Trusted Shops. If you are not yet registered for the services, you will then be given the opportunity to do so for the first time. Further processing after registration is also based on the contractual agreement with Trusted Shops GmbH. If you do not register, all transmitted data will be automatically deleted by Trusted Shops GmbH and a personal reference is then no longer possible.
As part of the joint responsibility between us and Trusted Shops GmbH, please contact Trusted Shops GmbH using the contact options given in the data protection information linked above if you have any questions about data protection and to assert your rights. Irrespective of this, you can always contact the responsible person of your choice. If necessary, your request will then be forwarded to the other person responsible for an answer.
13. Quality Assurance – Telephone Customer Service
As part of the telephone or written contact, we collect the personal data required for your request. With your explicit consent, individual conversations can be recorded for quality assurance reasons. If you have not actively agreed to the announcement in the queue, no recording will be made. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can stop the recording at any time, even during the call. The created voice files will be completely deleted after 14 days at the latest.
